BizSugar Contributor Focuses on Coaching

Though she is a consummate professional with years of experience in the corporate world, her business clients today all call her coach.

Our BizSugar Contributor of the Week, Stephanie Ward, a U.S. Citizen living in the Netherlands since 1999, has years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, management and consulting. But she decided to put it all to work for small business clients launching her own company, Firefly Coaching, in 2002. Today she enjoys “connecting cool people, creating ideas, and sharing resources” petty much anywhere in the world.

“I’m known for helping business owners get clear about their businesses and then generating marketing ideas that are a perfect fit for them so they can attract more clients,” Ward says.

Her training includes an undergraduate degree in business management and a Master’s degree in Communication both from the University of Oklahoma.

“My passion is to help small business owners grow their businesses into long-term sustainable enterprises and have a great life at the same time,” Ward says. “I do this by combining my business and marketing background, my coaching skills, as well as my own personal experience.”

She prides herself on being able to spot unseen opportunities for increasing profit that her clients are missing out on and and on helping them capitalize on these opportunities ahead of the competition.

“I’m curious by nature and love to discover new information, which makes me a valuable resource to my clients,” Ward says.

Here’s what some of her clients have to add:

“Just ten minutes with Stephanie and her innate wisdom, and I made a small change to my business model that tripled my turnover in just three months!” – Jo Parfitt, Author & Publisher

“Stephanie, you’re already raining marketing genius on me and we just met!” – Toma Haines, The Antiques Diva

Ward says she uses BizSugar to stimulate her business as well.

“BizSugar is an amazing resource for substantial business and marketing advice. It’s like a reliable friend you can always count on when you need help. The community is open, friendly, and extremely supportive,” she says.
