Would you like to help choose the Top 100 Small Business Influencers of 2011?
BizSugar.com is proud to be a sponsor and supporter of the 2011 Small Business Influencer awards. The Small Business Influencer awards recognize the companies and people who are responsible for supporting the small business community — those who create great products and services, and provide information and guidance that small businesses need in order to run their businesses successfully.
Who can be chosen?
Influencers must be from one of five distinct categories spelled out in the Small Business Influencers 2011 “rules”. Nominees must be from the U.S. or Canada. Each nominee is only eligible to be a small business influencer in one category.
Who can nominate?
Members of the public, including members of BizSugar.com, can nominate their choices in any of 5 categories. The five categories are: journalists, leaders, gurus, news outlets and corporations. Nominations are open through July 8, 2011.
Who can vote?
Starting July 11, 2011 will be a 30 day voting period. Any member of the public can vote for their top choices. People can vote once per category in each 24-hour period (in other words, people can vote 30 times per category during the voting period). Read here for more on how it works.
Who are the judges?
Helping the community decide on the final Top 100 Small Business Influencers will be a panel of judges including BizSugar CEO and Small Business Trends founder Anita Campbell; SmallBizTechnology.com publisher and author of “Technology Solutions for Growing Businesses” Ramon Ray and more.
