It could be argued that sales, in some form or other, is the most important function for any business. Because, without sales, you really don’t have a business in the first place.
That’s where sales experts like Gary S. Hart come in.
Hart brings a passion for sales and a long record of experience to the table.
He shares much of this with small business owners on his website SalesDuJour.
Experience
Hart’s experience includes:
- helping a technology company he worked with achieve an impressive 800% sales increase over a five-year period,
- landing major marketing campaigns including Toyota’s Import Car of the Year Award, including accounts for Avis, Cartier, Del Webb and Ideal Toy,
- building his own manufacturing technology sales company into an industry leader, and
- founding a company that developed an industry specific sales and marketing platform for small business.
Hart takes a customer-centric approach examining a buyer’s process and Customer Relationship Management. He uses this information to diagnose and coach sales staffs to understand changing market and economic conditions.
Constantly tweaking a sales approach to compensate for market changes while keeping an eye on your customer’s needs is the key to maintaining a competitive advantage.
Hart describes himself as an obsessive student of the sales process. His specialty has been helping sales organizations improve their performance and thus make more sales.
CRM intelligence provider InsideView has named Hart to their Top 25 Sales Influencers for two years running.
He has also been a guest instructor and keynote speaker for the Dale Carnegie Institute.
He says he’s currently working on a qualitative measurement for sales performance. That measurement, Hart says, will help sales team collect better sales data and do a better job at adopting CRM systems.
